"Go Dutch"
Written @ Friday, March 18, 2011 | 5:15 PM
I wish someday I would find a Dutch that would put a "van der" on my name. LOLjustkidding.

Last night while I can't sleep, I was suddenly fascinated by the names of Serena Celia van der Woodsen and Nathaniel "Nate" Van der Bilt Archibald from Gossip Girl and I was like, whoa COOL! van der...VAN DER! GROOL!

Van is a preposition in the Dutch and Afrikaans languages, meaning "of" or "from". It is also a common prefix in Dutch surnames (being known as a tussenvoegsel), as in Vincent van Gogh or Marco van Basten. It can appear by itself or in combination with another prefix, such as van de, van der and van den (current and archaic forms of the article de, meaning "the") and less commonly van het or van 't (the neutral article het).

Ohhh the things that I think of.

Hating mascots.

Especially those who gets close, stick their big head to your face and seek attention.

To others, they might be fun and cute but for me they are annoying. BLAH! XP

No offense to these two...

They and their friends dance with cuteness (sometimes) and EPICness

but when they are not performing or having pictures taken with kids (does the person wearing the costume smile too?!), AKA attention seeking or papansin or in salitang balbal pa-epal..ugh.

Oh my! 何が起こったのですか?!
Written @ Friday, March 11, 2011 | 6:31 PM
I just came home from an interview and I decided to sleep after lunch.

I just woke up and my mom was asking me why my eyes are swollen...oh yeah, I have no idea, it feels like I was crying in my dream because there were tears running down my cheeks when I woke up...

She also asked me what's in the news, IDK obviously I just woke up...and she kept telling me that I don't tune in to the news anymore as I was not updated with the current events anymore...

then I opened my Facebook not knowing I would encounter today's biggest shock.

AN 8.9 MAGNITUDE EARTHQUAKE AND 10ft TSUNAMIS IN JAPAN! WTF. I kept seeing everyone's post of their own links of the videos in Japan...

There were also Tsunami alerts in different countries near the pacific, including here. I have also heard news that there would be an earthquake here in the Philippines which would be very scary knowing that we are near the fault line.

What the hell is happening?!

Everything's so unbelievable, surreal and depressing.

I love Japan and I have always dreamt of visiting one day...even after all of this, I still hope I do get to go there in the future.

After everything that has happened today, I realized that we all are just a little part of this world. No matter how much riches and power we gain, it doesn't change the fact that nature can always interfere and take everything away.

Just Always Pray At Night!
日本、頑張ってください
あきらめていないください!!!!
